--July meeting canceled:  The meeting of the Ethics Commission​ scheduled for July 7 has been canceled. The Commission’s next meeting is scheduled for August 4, 2022.​



​--​--Contracts for Lobbying Services:  Effective July 1, 2022, state agencies, municipalities, counties, and school districts in the State that have contracted with an entity for consulting services relating to lobbying must disclose specific information to the Ethics Commission.  For more information, click here.​

--Public hearing continued:  A public hearing on an ethics complaint against Lisa Holstein, Threat Preparedness Coordinator, Boone County Health Department, has been continued until further ​notice.  To view the documents in this matter, click here.  


--September training:  The Ethics Commission is offering a virtual training to public officials, employees, and the public on the Ethics Act and the Open Meetings Act on Tuesday, ​September 20, at 12:00 p.m. (West Virginia attorneys will receive one hour of CLE credit).  Please email kimberly.b.weber@wv.gov​ for an invitation.
